But to his dismay, Lei Jian Xiong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semavi Polat in the 36th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Semavi Polat to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Goretzka, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, Victoria Przyborów's Fryderyk Hatman got a free kick in the 80th minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cai Wei Xi took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Boleslaw Ruszczyk to make any attempt to save it. 85 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cai Wei Xi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boleslaw Ruszczyk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Abad should have stopped the shot.
