The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 14 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI got a freekick which was hit by Kayhan İlksel. Hacı Onay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Teofilio in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's Ulvi Mutlutekin got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Ahmet Hakan Aydınoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fidel Hernando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fidel Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Hakan Aydınoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's goalkeeper Hacı Onay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Burutzagi. In the 24th minute Tayyar Uğursal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Olo. Fidel Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Hakan Aydınoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI booed when Northern California was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayyar Uğursal in the 32nd minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Fidel Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's protests and gave Kayhan İlksel a yellow card for diving instead. Hacı Onay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tayyar Uğursal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Kayhan İlksel made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Hernando. Northern California's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Northern California's Fidel Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayyar Uğursal in the 89th minute of play. Fidel Hernando was a little too slow when Tayyar Uğursal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-7. Hacı Onay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Teofilio's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Marco Policarpio's late challenge caught a BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Policarpio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marco Policarpio hit a great ball. In the 97th minute of the match, Kayhan İlksel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fidel Hernando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match was over BEŞİKTAŞ ALTYAPI could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Northern California throughout the match.
