Fidel Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Northern California's goalkeeper Fidel Hernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rupert Hampshire. The crowd rose to their feet as Rupert Hampshire kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fidel Hernando. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. With a little luck, Northern California's Fidel Hernando got control of the ball when Ashley Gardiner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rupert Hampshire took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Hernando. Fidel Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 21 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Txurio. With his leg Fidel Hernando managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Rupert Hampshire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the game, Carmelo Oihan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northern California's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham Comets F.C. the free kick. Carmelo Oihan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Fidel Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashley Gardiner in the 26th minute of the match. Rupert Hampshire scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fidel Hernando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Txurio to maneuver through the defense. When Andrew Thomas came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Clapham Comets F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Thomas couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Fidel Hernando threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jackie Wilshere, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 35th minute, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Tom Rosický dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Fidel Hernando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ashley Gardiner in the 38th minute. With his leg Fidel Hernando managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Rupert Hampshire fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Rupert Hampshire came free, but Fidel Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tom Rosický took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Hernando. Fidel Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 46 minutes into the game, Tom Rosický lined in a short shot 6-0 behind a frustrated Fidel Hernando. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

Fidel Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Rosický, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ashley Gardiner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Hernando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Clapham Comets F.C.'s Rupert Hampshire looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fidel Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Hampshire in the 61st minute of the match. Fidel Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Gardiner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Ashley Gardiner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Hernando. Northern California's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ashley Gardiner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Gardiner in the 67th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Fidel Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rupert Hampshire might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Hernando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rupert Hampshire ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Rupert Hampshire notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Northern California's Fidel Hernando. Fidel Hernando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Oihan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Northern California's zone, Rupert Hampshire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Hernando came out of the goal and Rupert Hampshire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rupert Hampshire in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Hernando saved Northern California from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Tom Rosický notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Northern California's Fidel Hernando. Fidel Hernando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Rosický in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Hernando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rupert Hampshire took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Hernando. Fidel Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clapham Comets F.C. had played much better football throughout.
