In the 5th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Arizabal to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Aquiles Bartolome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Carballal came out of the goal and Aquiles Bartolome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes of play, Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Demario was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bairoletto FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Nardo Tuo scored to the left of an out of position Pascual Demario, making the score, 2-0. 20 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Pascual Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nardo Tuo. 21 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Pascual Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kismi Tojedo. After some careless play in the Bairoletto FC defense, Kismi Tojedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Demario. The Bairoletto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Demario should have stopped the shot. Pascual Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kismi Tojedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Nardo Tuo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Pascual Demario made a huge save. Rolando Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Sporting Buceo's Laffitte Rioz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 37th minute, Braulio Nuxila made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Carballal. Sporting Buceo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cristo Patrido hit a great ball. Guido Arizabal shot from long distance in the 44th minute, but Pascual Demario was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After a rather tough play, Bairoletto FC's Cristo Patrido got a free kick in the 45th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Cristo Patrido put in a rough tackle. In the 48th minute, Cristo Patrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laffitte Rioz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rolando Asur fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bairoletto FC's protests and gave Rolando Asur a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Asur hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Velasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Vachon Camaño shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Demario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pascual Demario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascual Demario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Cepa in the 84th minute of play. Pascual Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nardo Tuo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nardo Tuo in the 94th minute of play forced Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Pascual Demario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
