Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Diego Balendin got the match started through his kick off. With his leg Anier Oidor managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when Sporting Buceo's Laffitte Rioz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anier Oidor was a little too slow when Lucas Cepa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kismi Tojedo during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Angelo Carballal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Lucila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kismi Tojedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Diego Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Carballal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Lucas Cepa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Oidor came out of the goal and Lucas Cepa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Carballal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Abad in the 28th minute of play. Anier Oidor made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Laffitte Rioz sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laffitte Rioz in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after San Lorenzo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Arizabal took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Laffitte Rioz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anier Oidor quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Laffitte Rioz hit a great ball. During the 39th minute of the match Kismi Tojedo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kismi Tojedo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 40th minute, Kismi Tojedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Balendin took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Carballal. Angelo Carballal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 46th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Urki to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laffitte Rioz to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Diego Balendin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelo Carballal, 1-2. Celedonio Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Carballal having to interfere. Angelo Carballal made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Arnaldo Bide sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Cepa in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Lucila. Sporting Buceo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guido Arizabal in the 67th minute. Bartoleme Ceja was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartoleme Ceja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Diego Balendin sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Angelo Carballal threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Diego Balendin this time. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nardo Tuo hit a great ball. Sporting Buceo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Cipriano Abad scored to the left of an out of position Angelo Carballal, making the score, 1-3. When Sporting Buceo's Laffitte Rioz in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo's goalie prevented a goal. San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laffitte Rioz in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Laffitte Rioz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Oidor came out of the goal and Laffitte Rioz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cipriano Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Lorenzo played a much better game than Sporting Buceo and deserved their victory. The Sporting Buceo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
