Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Andrew Thomas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Luciano Urki hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Andrew Thomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Cross showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Hurko in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrew Thomas in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Flavio Lucila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sebastian Cross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Bide in the 26th minute of play. After some careless play in the Clapham Comets F.C. defense, Arnaldo Bide kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Cross. The Clapham Comets F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Cross should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Gerry Roebuck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Abad. Brad Symons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Oidor having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, San Lorenzo's Diego Balendin made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Cross was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Balendin to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Cross made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Hurko in the 52nd minute. Clapham Comets F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Arnaldo Hurko scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Cross, making the score, 1-4. 63 minutes into the game, Flavio Lucila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clapham Comets F.C. the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Lucila to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Arnaldo Hurko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Cross was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 76th minute, Chip Preece hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 minutes of play, San Lorenzo's Arnaldo Hurko made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Cross was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, San Lorenzo's Arnaldo Hurko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Cross. Sebastian Cross yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. 93 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Hurko came free, but Sebastian Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Thomas in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anier Oidor saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. The San Lorenzo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
