In the 8th minute, Toninho Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvério Netto came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Westra Aros SK's Ismael Jenaro. But to his dismay, Ismael Jenaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Gökberk Özgenc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvério Netto, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Academia Militar MZ's Adrianinho de Salles got a free kick in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Gökberk Özgenc took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Silvério Netto to make any attempt to save it. Basilio Arnuero hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Toninho Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Olsson having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Academia Militar MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Jenaro came free, but Silvério Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gökberk Özgenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Academia Militar MZ's Silvério Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Academia Militar MZ from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd match minute, Academia Militar MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Gökberk Özgenc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes in the game Pedro Paulo Chaves did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rogério Gaúcho. In the 42nd minute, Jörn Hylander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4-0 became the score in the 44th minute when Ismael Jenaro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrianinho de Salles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Academia Militar MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gökberk Özgenc came free, but Silvério Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvério Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökberk Özgenc in the 51st minute of play. Silvério Netto came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Westra Aros SK's Gökberk Özgenc. But to his dismay, Gökberk Özgenc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Ingo Kuster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Academia Militar MZ defense, Ismael Jenaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvério Netto. The Academia Militar MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvério Netto should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Academia Militar MZ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Dedé Carneiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Academia Militar MZ's Marcos de Senna got a free kick in the 81st minute. Abelardo Valle's late challenge caught a Westra Aros SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abelardo Valle helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Academia Militar MZ got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Valle. Gökberk Özgenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Silvério Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Westra Aros SK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
