The supporters of Wakanda fv FSCMZ booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Hurko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswaldo Gonçalves scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anier Oidor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Flavio Lucila reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armandinho Mattos. The goal made the score 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Balendin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armandinho Mattos. That made the score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. Armandinho Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Lucila, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Diego Balendin succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. In the 42nd minute, San Lorenzo's Diego Balendin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Armandinho Mattos. Armandinho Mattos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Balendin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Diego Balendin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Armandinho Mattos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Wakanda fv FSCMZ defense, Diego Balendin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armandinho Mattos. The Wakanda fv FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armandinho Mattos should have stopped the shot. Wakanda fv FSCMZ's Armandinho Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Balendin in the 60th minute of play. Armandinho Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Balendin in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Flavio Lucila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arnaldo Hurko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Balendin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armandinho Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Lucila, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 76 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Lucila. Armandinho Mattos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flavio Lucila went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Diego Balendin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armandinho Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Armandinho Mattos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Balendin's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. If Diego Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 99 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Arnaldo Hurko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armandinho Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-1. San Lorenzo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
