With a left leg Anier Oidor saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

52 minutes into the match, Gökberk Özgenc notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor. Anier Oidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Westra Aros SK's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Lucila in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo defense, Gökberk Özgenc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Oidor. The San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Oidor should have stopped the shot. Anier Oidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökberk Özgenc, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When Arnaldo Hurko, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 78 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ivan Västlund was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ismael Jenaro charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Jenaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 80 played minutes Westra Aros SK got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Jenaro. Arnaldo Hurko's late challenge caught a Westra Aros SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Hurko helped the player get up and apologised. Arnaldo Bide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ivan Västlund made a huge save.
