Rodo's Jeremy Avellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Moczkiewicz in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszko Moczkiewicz came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Zbyszko Moczkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Forssell in the 17th minute of the match. Gasteiz Latorre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Octavio Zapater blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremy Avellana having to make a save. Zorongo FC's Zbyszko Moczkiewicz managed to work through Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Zbyszko Moczkiewicz dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Juan Egoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gasteiz Latorre in the 35th minute of play. Gasteiz Latorre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Juan Egoitz made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zorongo FC:s goal. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo:s Jeremy Avellana showed great skill when he stopped Zbyszko Moczkiewicz:s penalty. After 46 minutes, Octavio Peruanton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorongo FC and the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Octavio Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Zorongo FC's Juan Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Öberg in the 53rd minute of play. Juan Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Trasloseros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremy Avellana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Moczkiewicz in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszko Moczkiewicz in the 68th minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorongo FC made a substitution. Gerardo Giro replaced Octavio Zapater. Zorongo FC made a substitution. Fortunato Sans replaced Arvid Forssell. Zorongo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julio Barroso in the 75th minute. Anthon Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Egoitz having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
