The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Arne Bengtsson got free with Marco Moench in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fire Devils booed when FC Wöllersdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. The FC Wöllersdorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Moench should have stopped the shot. Fire Devils's Odysseus Lindenmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Fire Devils from getting a goal against them. After 93 minutes of play, FC Wöllersdorf's Bora Han Akbel made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odysseus Lindenmann was left in no man's land by his defense there!
