The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Altan Sebukalp hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Ülo Veerma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kürşat Ertaş in the 7th minute of play. Kecierengücü's Vural Şahinalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivari Pervik in the 9th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kecierengücü defense, Ivari Pervik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vural Şahinalp. The Kecierengücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vural Şahinalp should have stopped the shot. Aimar Pihlakas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Vural Şahinalp made a huge save. After having played for 16 minutes, İskender Değirmenci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kecierengücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but İskender Değirmenci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vural Şahinalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Lamp in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Kecierengücü's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Lamp came free, but Vural Şahinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reis Yay in the 21st minute of play forced Meyuste's goalkeeper Ülo Veerma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Anıl Deren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ülo Veerma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Kürşat Ertaş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ülo Veerma having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Aimar Pihlakas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vural Şahinalp. Kecierengücü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aimar Pihlakas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Vural Şahinalp was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivari Pervik showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Kecierengücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kürşat Ertaş to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Ivari Pervik took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Vural Şahinalp to make any attempt to save it. After 47 minutes, Karmo Kurg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meyuste and the Kecierengücü players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karmo Kurg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Vural Şahinalp came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Meyuste's Ivari Pervik. But to his dismay, Ivari Pervik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Kürşat Ertaş took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ülo Veerma. Ülo Veerma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Vural Şahinalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karmo Kurg in the 59th minute of the match. Mehmet Oğuz Pektay charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mehmet Oğuz Pektay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Kecierengücü fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Kecierengücü's Reis Yay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 86 minutes into the match, Kecierengücü's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Pihlakas came free, but Vural Şahinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ülo Veerma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reis Yay, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Meyuste had won after a very even match.
