Baha Sungurbay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Ülo Veerma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aimar Pihlakas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özkan İnanöz charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özkan İnanöz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Göztepe's Özkan İnanöz got a free kick in the 19th minute. Aimar Pihlakas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Baha Sungurbay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erhun Şendoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aimar Pihlakas in the 24th minute of the match. Erhun Şendoğan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivari Pervik went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Göztepe's Özkan İnanöz got his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute. The referee ordered Özkan İnanöz off the ground. Özkan İnanöz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivari Pervik in the 48th minute of play forced Göztepe's goalkeeper Erhun Şendoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 82nd minute, Meyuste's Ivari Pervik ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erhun Şendoğan. Erhun Şendoğan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Arif Gaffar Hitit hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Baha Sungurbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ülo Veerma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meyuste's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
