Gilbert Walentowicz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jaroslaw Koczara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Behlül Eryilmaz went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Maciej Madajczyk's late challenge caught a Kütahya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maciej Madajczyk helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Kütahya got a freekick which was hit by Dilaver Teren. Jaroslaw Koczara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behlül Eryilmaz in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Maciej Madajczyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kütahya's Halit Fahri Rahmi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Halit Fahri Rahmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Panikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Halit Fahri Rahmi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Madajczyk in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Karol Panikowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Halit Fahri Rahmi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute, Behlül Eryilmaz made a precise shot to the right of Jaroslaw Koczara. Gaje SA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Behlül Eryilmaz took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Jaroslaw Koczara to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Behlül Eryilmaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behlül Eryilmaz in the 53rd minute of play forced Gaje SA's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Koczara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Kütahya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Orhan Numan to maneuver through the defense. Maciej Madajczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the game, one of Gaje SA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gaje SA's Jaroslaw Koczara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behlül Eryilmaz in the 93rd minute of play. Karol Panikowski struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Halit Fahri Rahmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaje SA. Kütahya's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
