Jaroslaw Koczara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kürşat Ertaş in the 23rd minute of the match. Jaroslaw Koczara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reis Yay, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The Kecierengücü fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Kecierengücü's Reis Yay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 1-3 became the score in the 35th minute when Kürşat Ertaş elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Kecierengücü's goalkeeper Vural Şahinalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karol Panikowski. Erkin Yıldırım hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reis Yay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Gaje SA defense, İskender Değirmenci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaroslaw Koczara. The Gaje SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaroslaw Koczara should have stopped the shot. Jaroslaw Koczara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reis Yay in the 60th minute of the match. If Reis Yay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vural Şahinalp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Gaje SA's Jaroslaw Koczara got control of the ball when Reis Yay tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Gaje SA's Gilbert Walentowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vural Şahinalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. 77 minutes into the match, Gilbert Walentowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vural Şahinalp. Kecierengücü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Walentowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reis Yay in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaroslaw Koczara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Gaje SA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kürşat Ertaş fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 87 played minutes Kecierengücü got a freekick which was hit by Erkin Yıldırım. 90 minutes into the match, Maciej Madajczyk notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of Kecierengücü's Vural Şahinalp. Vural Şahinalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Gaje SA were the better team. Gaje SA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
