Bilgehan Tayyip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhun Şendoğan having to interfere. Fikri Doğu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Göztepe's goalkeeper Erhun Şendoğan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bilgehan Tayyip. In the 24th minute, Tunceli JK's Bilgehan Tayyip ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erhun Şendoğan. Erhun Şendoğan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Tunceli JK's Gencal Beybolat got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Şemsettin Çokay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Galip Perver skillfully saved the ball. Baha Sungurbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bilgehan Tayyip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Galip Perver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baha Sungurbay in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengiz Hitit in the 43rd minute of play forced Göztepe's goalkeeper Erhun Şendoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fikri Doğu made a kick off. Baha Sungurbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Cengiz Hitit made a precise shot to the right of Erhun Şendoğan. Göztepe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Cengiz Hitit came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Tunceli JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cengiz Hitit couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Göztepe booed when Tunceli JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cengiz Hitit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baha Sungurbay hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bilgehan Tayyip in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erhun Şendoğan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Göztepe players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tunceli JK.
