Tolga İzzettin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tolga İzzettin went to the wrong direction when Anıl Deren was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Hasan Tahsin Uram kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Eleskirt getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kutluay Akalın hit a great ball. The supporters of Kecierengücü booed when Eleskirt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mithat Kalhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolga İzzettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kürşat Ertaş in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Eleskirt booed when Kecierengücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erkin Yıldırım didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vural Şahinalp made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sefa Yarkın sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ardahan Üke in the 29th minute of play forced Kecierengücü's goalkeeper Vural Şahinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Kecierengücü's goal looked a bit too open when Ardahan Üke came free, but Vural Şahinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Eleskirt defense, Kürşat Ertaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolga İzzettin. The Eleskirt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolga İzzettin should have stopped the shot. When Dursun Ali Ersan fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eleskirt's protests and gave Dursun Ali Ersan a yellow card for diving instead. Dursun Ali Ersan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Reis Yay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga İzzettin having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Kecierengücü's Kürşat Ertaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tolga İzzettin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 45 minutes of play, Kecierengücü's Reis Yay made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tolga İzzettin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reis Yay to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Hüsmen Baray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kecierengücü and the Eleskirt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Kecierengücü got a freekick which was hit by Anıl Deren. Abayhan Ünver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vural Şahinalp having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Kürşat Ertaş put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Tolga İzzettin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erkin Yıldırım during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Eleskirt booed when Kecierengücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erkin Yıldırım didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reis Yay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga İzzettin having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Reis Yay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Ardahan Üke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vural Şahinalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. 87 minutes into the match, Eleskirt's goalkeeper Tolga İzzettin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reis Yay. In the 89th minute Kecierengücü were awarded a corner. Anıl Deren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Anıl Deren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eleskirt's Tolga İzzettin did a great save. After some careless play in the Kecierengücü defense, Ardahan Üke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vural Şahinalp. The Kecierengücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vural Şahinalp should have stopped the shot. The Eleskirt supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kecierengücü's performance. The match ended with a win for Kecierengücü.
