Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Behlül Eryilmaz made the kick off which started today's match. When Nazmi Sönmez came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Kütahya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazmi Sönmez couldn't finish the play. Fikri Doğu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Halit Fahri Rahmi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fikri Doğu in the 16th minute of play forced Kütahya's goalkeeper Halit Fahri Rahmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Baha Sungurbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25thth minute of the game Nazmi Sönmez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göztepe's Erhun Şendoğan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şemsettin Çokay hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Behlül Eryilmaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhun Şendoğan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee showed Olcay Vurgun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kütahya getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Olcay Vurgun hit a great ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fikri Doğu made a kick off. Behlül Eryilmaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhun Şendoğan having to interfere. Kütahya's Halit Fahri Rahmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baha Sungurbay in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Behlül Eryilmaz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erhun Şendoğan. The goal made the score 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustafa Orhan Numan during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Mustafa Orhan Numan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Göztepe's zone, Mustafa Orhan Numan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. One couldn't see Olcay Vurgun behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. After 74 played minutes Kütahya got a freekick which was hit by Behlül Eryilmaz. If Nazmi Sönmez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nazmi Sönmez kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Halit Fahri Rahmi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fikri Doğu in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Kütahya getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ali Emir Suyurgal hit a great ball. Baha Sungurbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Kütahya booed when Göztepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pekin Talha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özkan İnanöz kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
