Głodne Ghule's Peter-Stefan Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Cwenar in the 6th minute of play. When Fridtjof Ferstad came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Głodne Ghule fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fridtjof Ferstad couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Deportivo Galicia got a freekick which was hit by Kryspin Kalinowski. After 18 minutes, Roch Marud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Głodne Ghule and the Deportivo Galicia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Głodne Ghule's Roch Marud got a free kick in the 18th minute. Głodne Ghule's Peter-Stefan Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svanbjörn von den Berg in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fridtjof Ferstad in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberino Pujana saved Deportivo Galicia from getting behind. Roch Marud made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fridtjof Ferstad. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fridtjof Ferstad got free with Alberino Pujana in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 played minutes Fridtjof Ferstad rounded Deportivo Galicia's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goal looked a bit too open when Svanbjörn von den Berg came free, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Galicia's Alberino Pujana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Galicia from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, Svanbjörn von den Berg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter-Stefan Schmeichel. Svanbjörn von den Berg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Głodne Ghule's Hasan Hüseyin Afşar was substituted for Przemyslaw Lanczak. 60 minutes in the game Roch Marud did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fridtjof Ferstad. Svanbjörn von den Berg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel came out and tried to block the shot, but Svanbjörn von den Berg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Głodne Ghule's Johannes Olofsson got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes, Deportivo Galicia's Hermenegildo Menezes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Peter-Stefan Schmeichel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Galicia reached it. 72 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goalkeeper Peter-Stefan Schmeichel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonel Mesquita. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Galicia's Peter-Stefan Schmeichel threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Åke Granberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Deportivo Galicia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Hermenegildo Menezes hit a great ball. Hermenegildo Menezes kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A hard shot 83 in the game by Leonel Mesquita from a close distance when the talented Peter-Stefan Schmeichel managed to make a qualified save. Głodne Ghule's players were relieved. Fridtjof Ferstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Głodne Ghule's Adam Buksa was substituted for Fridtjof Ferstad. Peter-Stefan Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Granberg in the 89th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Adam Buksa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alberino Pujana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. Głodne Ghule's Adam Buksa started the play with the initial kick off. 103 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Mesquita came free, but Peter-Stefan Schmeichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Buksa struck a weak shot in the 104th minute. Alberino Pujana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Głodne Ghule. Adam Buksa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 105th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberino Pujana having to make a save. Adam Buksa might have been able to make a better finish in the 112th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberino Pujana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Buksa ran back to his position shaking his head. Alberino Pujana made a fantastic save in the 112th minute, when Adam Buksa sent off a good shot on target. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Leonel Mesquita did a quick kick off. Alberino Pujana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Buksa went, in the 117th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score.
