The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Erramun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, U.P. Gavellese's Elpidio Macias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Beck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Alessio Volta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.P. Gavellese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessio Volta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Sahnoyan Şahbey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
