Gaston Caetano struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Patryk Olejarz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fecha Libre. In the 24th minute Martins Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Olejarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Martins Palermo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patryk Olejarz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Patryk Olejarz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martins Palermo in the 29th minute of the match. INTER Sosnowiec were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Fecha Libre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rene Kreiser took the corner. The corner led INTER Sosnowiec's Rene Kreiser to fire away a dangerous shot which Emiliano Martínez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The throw-in from Boleslaw Kajfasz in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fecha Libre's Gavino Hodei. Gavino Hodei kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Boleslaw Kajfasz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Emiliano Martínez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Wietrzychowski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th match minute, INTER Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Wietrzychowski to maneuver through the defense. After 50 played minutes INTER Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Bror Nordstedt. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Maximilian Stålman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Martins Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martins Palermo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patryk Olejarz having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Patryk Olejarz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martins Palermo. Maximilian Stålman struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Emiliano Martínez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER Sosnowiec. After some careless play in the Fecha Libre defense, Bror Nordstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Martínez. The Fecha Libre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Martínez should have stopped the shot. INTER Sosnowiec's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Martins Palermo scored to the left of an out of position Patryk Olejarz, making the score, 2-2. Patryk Olejarz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igli Tare, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Igli Tare might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patryk Olejarz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Igli Tare ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute of the match, Igli Tare tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patryk Olejarz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 85 minutes into the match, INTER Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Igli Tare came free, but Patryk Olejarz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Ethan Mbappè had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Martínez. Fecha Libre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ethan Mbappè was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. If Marian Moizuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
