Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorrin Briones kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Eztebe. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Jorrin Briones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Roberto Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wojciech Fiszer hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Rios in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferenc Tököli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Paulo da Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Eztebe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Paulo da Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Rios in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferenc Tököli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Ferenc Tököli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 32nd minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorrin Briones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorrin Briones. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Albert Camus quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wojciech Fiszer, made in the 39th minute of the game. After 44 minutes, Dawid Beckham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC FUSION and the Rapsodas Red Devils FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Joseph Schwarzfischer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Schwarzfischer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Eztebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Rios to strike the kick off in the second half. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorrin Briones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in AFC FUSION's zone, Jorrin Briones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Eztebe came out of the goal and Jorrin Briones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jerrold Taranco was substituted for Luís Paulo da Fonseca. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Guido Txindoki. After a defensive mix-up in Rapsodas Red Devils FC's zone, Lino Rios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferenc Tököli came out of the goal and Lino Rios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrold Taranco came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Colmenares came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Rios charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Rios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Lino Rios hit a great ball. Ferenc Tököli made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kai Havertz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrold Taranco in the 93rd minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Christoff Stocks dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferenc Tököli, 1-1. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

Paul Vase hit a great freekick 102 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe got control of the ball when Jerrold Taranco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferenc Tököli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Rios went, in the 104th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
