After 10 played minutes Rapsodas Red Devils FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo da Fonseca. Ferenc Tököli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ferenc Tököli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Bezerra in the 17th minute of the match. Ferenc Tököli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Bezerra in the 18th minute of play. Donato Ali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32ndth minute of the game Jorrin Briones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schuster's Donato Ali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorrin Briones kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Ali. That made the score 2-1 in the 37 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorrin Briones to strike the kick off in the second half. Donato Ali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorrin Briones in the 55th minute of play. Jorrin Briones might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Ali. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rapsodas Red Devils FC were furious when Joseph Schwarzfischer was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Jerrold Taranco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 112th minute. Donato Ali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Piarres in the 113th minute of play. Leonardo Colmenares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 115th minute. Donato Ali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Bezerra got free with Ferenc Tököli in the 134th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 minutes of extra-time there was still no winner. The players now faced the much dreaded penalty shoot-out.

The referee gave Rapsodas Red Devils FC a penalty, 144 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcus Olsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Schuster's Donato Ali. 5-4. Donato Ali had in the 145thth minute some difficulties stopping Filiberto Paternina's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The referee gave Rapsodas Red Devils FC a penalty, 146 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ippolit Kolobov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Schuster's Donato Ali. 6-4. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
