The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zacarias Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Domuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Żuki Gnojarze's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanny Van Wontergem in the 60th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Petruț Dicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giovanny Van Wontergem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petruț Dicu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Giovanny Van Wontergem made a precise shot to the right of Petruț Dicu. Brujas KV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
