In the 3rd minute, Miguel Almiron ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredinho Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 5 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Márquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Casado in the 6th minute of play forced Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baltasar Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruben Casado in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltasar Sancho saved Sacro Balompié from getting behind. Alfredinho Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Apolo Peto sent off a good shot on target. Alfredinho Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Bernal in the 13th minute of the match. Baltasar Sancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 31st minute, Ruben Casado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Sancho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 36 played minutes, Colognese FC's Rurik Öhlmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colognese FC reached it. 42 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Bernal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredinho Carneiro, 2-2. Alfredinho Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Almiron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Almiron was the one to do the kick off. Alfredinho Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Peto in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Batista got free with Baltasar Sancho in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sacro Balompié made a substitution. Aquiles Bieito replaced Teobaldo Bernal. After 66 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Bernal. With a little luck, Sacro Balompié's Baltasar Sancho got control of the ball when Edgard Batista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorio Jax hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Colognese FC's Juninho Santos was substituted for Ruben Casado. After a rather tough play, Sacro Balompié's Victorio Jax got a free kick in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Sacro Balompié's goalkeeper Baltasar Sancho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juninho Santos. 88 minutes into the game, Colognese FC's Juninho Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Sancho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Alfredinho Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Gaueko in the 91st minute of play. Gervasio Lidon took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredinho Carneiro. Alfredinho Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
