Azulgranas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregory Brent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Azulgranas from getting a goal against them. Łukasz Fabiański was a little too slow when Gregory Brent got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Conan Welsh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chippenham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azulgranas the free kick. In the 14th match minute, Chippenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conan Welsh to maneuver through the defense. Chippenham's 肖崇天 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Zust in the 19th minute of play. 肖崇天 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Zust, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chippenham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marco Zust was slow to take the kick. During this time Azulgranas's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Marco Zust almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chippenham's 肖崇天 did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Tarresola in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 肖崇天 saved Chippenham from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by 杨远益 in the 26th minute of play forced Azulgranas's goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Sánchez Castruita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 肖崇天. The supporters of Chippenham booed when Azulgranas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Tarresola didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Azulgranas's Łukasz Fabiański got control of the ball when Gregory Brent tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregory Brent got free with Łukasz Fabiański in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
In the 52nd minute of the game, Azulgranas got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. A collision led to Azulgranas getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Dani Fase hit a great ball. After 57 minutes of play Chippenham's Conan Welsh was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 58 played minutes Chippenham got a freekick which was hit by Conan Welsh. Azulgranas's Marco Zust got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 肖崇天 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Zust, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chippenham's 杨远益 got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chippenham made a substitution. Fitz Beck replaced Gregory Brent. Azulgranas's Victoriano Movilla was substituted for Sánchez Castruita. 68 minutes into the match, Chippenham's goalkeeper 肖崇天 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Movilla. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Berrios kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 肖崇天. That made the score 2-3 in the 73 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Kris Morning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chippenham's supporters rose to their feet, but Kris Morning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Łukasz Fabiański breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chippenham's 肖崇天 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Chippenham from getting a goal against them. If Eloy Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Chippenham defense, Ulises Terroba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 肖崇天. The Chippenham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 肖崇天 should have stopped the shot. Łukasz Fabiański made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Morning in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Chippenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calum Cardwell to maneuver through the defense. Chippenham's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Ulises Terroba scored to the left of an out of position 肖崇天, making the score, 3-5. The Azulgranas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Azulgranas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
