With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dário Tepedino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when Barreal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Sayvion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amauri Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben-Ami Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barreal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jairo Eneko in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Ben-Ami Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Joel Oalo could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Amauri Félix however easily saved by the left post. Adelino Corrêa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amauri Félix firmly grabbed it by the left post. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben-Ami Gol in the 32nd minute of play. Sebastian Sayvion lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 34th minute, one of Barreal FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barreal FC. The referee gave Rio Verde F.C CIMZ a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. Dário Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Malm in the 39th minute of the match. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adelino Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jairo Eneko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Amauri Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 74th minute, Yu Guang Chen made a precise shot to the right of Amauri Félix. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Birol Celilay was substituted for Lauro Arce. After 81 played minutes Rio Verde F.C CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Brito.
