A collision led to Rio Verde F.C CIMZ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Tolgahan Onatkan hit a great ball. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 13th minute of play. Lino Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romulo Abilio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 30th minute Tolgahan Onatkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolgahan Onatkan in the 31st minute of play. Lino Rios succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 34th playminute. Amauri Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Mitchel Bakker was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitchel Bakker to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Ove Malm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe got control of the ball when Marcos Siqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Malm in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Eztebe saved AFC FUSION from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jens-Ove Malm put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Eztebe. With his leg Roberto Eztebe managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Marcos Siqueira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jan Hop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Amauri Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Marcos Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ove Malm in the 66th minute. Lino Rios charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Rios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Rios to maneuver through the defense. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ made a substitution. Ixona Mascarañas replaced Mitchel Bakker. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Birol Celilay was substituted for Lauro Arce. The supporters of Rio Verde F.C CIMZ booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Rios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ixona Mascarañas to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Tolgahan Onatkan came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ixona Mascarañas got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Marcos Siqueira. Lino Rios scored 2-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amauri Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Lino Rios. AFC FUSION's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
