A sloppy throw-in by Giovanni Rana in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham. 7 minutes into the game, Ismael Iglesias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marlin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC FUSION the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 14th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Panpili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Lino Rios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lino Rios might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Carlos Alvarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rios ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. 24 minutes into the game, Lino Rios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Juan Carlos Alvarez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Rios in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Jan Hop could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Juan Carlos Alvarez however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 33rd minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Dionisio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Linus Fredriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. AFC FUSION's Lino Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Fermin Arixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Linus Fredriksson took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Roberto Eztebe to make any attempt to save it. Ismael Iglesias got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Melchor Oidor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Linus Fredriksson got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Iglesias hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Marlin FC's Ismael Iglesias got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Ismael Iglesias off the ground. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Iglesias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoff Stocks in the 76th minute of the match. Dionisio Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Carlos Alvarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match AFC FUSION got a corner. Marlin FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dawid Beckham ran over to the corner to take the kick. Santiago Cachorro thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Juan Carlos Alvarez, a very annoying self made goal in the 83rd minute which led to 3-1. In the 86th minute Christoff Stocks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Alvarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Fredriksson. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoff Stocks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC FUSION's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
