Linus Fredrikssons short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Herminio Roderigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Linus Fredriksson had several of the Trinchera FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 15 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Herminio Roderigo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Trinchera FC from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Linus Fredriksson. When Linus Fredriksson came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Marlin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Fredriksson couldn't finish the play. Herminio Roderigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 23rd minute. Mariano Corderro took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Carlos Alvarez. Juan Carlos Alvarez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Herminio Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 31st minute of play. Dionisio Panpili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Herminio Roderigo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Arixo got free with Herminio Roderigo in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Arixo in the 41st minute of play. After 47 minutes, Mariano Corderro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinchera FC and the Marlin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute, Linus Fredriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Corderro to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryuji Laprise. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute Marlin FC were awarded a corner. Ismael Iglesias went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Marlin FC's Ismael Iglesias to fire away a dangerous shot which Herminio Roderigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybek Orcun in the 61st minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herminio Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Arixo in the 93rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Roderigo saved Trinchera FC from getting behind. Linus Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Herminio Roderigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Marlin FC fully deserved thier win.
