Flamengo Paraibano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mané Barreto should have stopped the shot. Albano Piearres hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goal looked a bit too open when 胡浩岩 came free, but Mané Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Erberk Tunçkol sped through Nagrand's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilhelm Falkrantz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albin Anundsson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilhelm Falkrantz saved Nagrand from getting behind. With a little luck, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto got control of the ball when 王桦正 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilhelm Falkrantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erberk Tunçkol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Siang hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Wilhelm Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Anundsson in the 32nd minute of play. Mané Barreto made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Hipólito Neto sent off a good shot on target. After 35 played minutes Nagrand got a freekick which was hit by Neil Fenech. Wilhelm Falkrantz came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Albin Anundsson. But to his dismay, Albin Anundsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mané Barreto made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when 郑益镇 sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hipólito Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 王桦正 in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Nagrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Laycock to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Nagrand's Neil Fenech seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Neil Fenech the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nagrand protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Neil Fenech had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Nagrand:s Wilhelm Falkrantz showed great skill when he stopped Albin Anundsson:s penalty. 57 minutes into the match, Albin Anundsson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Nagrand's Wilhelm Falkrantz. Wilhelm Falkrantz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nagrand's Wilhelm Falkrantz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Nagrand from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Felix Siang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Barreto was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. When Ron Laycock fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nagrand's protests and gave Ron Laycock a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, one of Nagrand:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nagrand. 1-4 came through a penalty shot after 74 played minutes, when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano:s Albin Anundsson calmly waited for Nagrand:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Andrzej Solarek kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Ron Laycock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes Nagrand got a freekick which was hit by Ron Laycock. Mané Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 郑益镇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinho Dantas's late challenge caught a Nagrand's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edinho Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. Edinho Dantas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91stth minute of the game 王桦正 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flamengo Paraibano from getting behind. The supporters of Nagrand booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chants of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Nagrand had held the ball for most of the match.
