Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Feliberto Batista started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Feliberto Batista notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of STORM's Nikolay Kovalev. Nikolay Kovalev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nikolay Kovalev made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Feliberto Batista sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes STORM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guido Olentzaro who took care of the corner kick. Nikolay Kovalev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Olentzaro in the 14th minute of the match. Nikolay Kovalev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elpidio Gabrio in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Grütly's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Bolshakov came free, but Epifanio Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Gabrio got free with Nikolay Kovalev in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kirill Gerasimchuk kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Denis Lavrentev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikolay Kovalev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Gabrio in the 30th minute of play. STORM's Nikolay Kovalev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Batista in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Denis Lavrentev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Epifanio Boniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nikolay Kovalev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Lavrentev in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Boniel saved Grütly from getting behind. Feliberto Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Nikolay Kovalev made a huge save. Elpidio Gabrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. STORM's Andrey Buznikin was substituted for Anton Varlamov. STORM made a substitution. Maksim Khomukha replaced Leonid Sokolov. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denis Lavrentev was the one to do the kick off. Epifanio Boniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Lavrentev's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Grütly's goalkeeper Epifanio Boniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrey Sokolenko. When STORM's Denis Lavrentev in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grütly's goalie prevented a goal. Nikolay Kovalev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Bizi, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Andrey Buznikin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Epifanio Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Tauro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Grütly:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of STORM:s goal. The goalkeeper, Epifanio Boniel, was totally fooled by STORM's Denis Lavrentev, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Roman Bolshakov took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Boniel. Epifanio Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 76 minutes, Faustino Quintin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grütly and the STORM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Grütly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Quintin to maneuver through the defense. Nikolay Kovalev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Bizi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Frichoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grütly's Tadeo Frichoso got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, STORM's Andrey Buznikin got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 90th play minutes Denis Lavrentev shot 1-5, a short shot which went by Epifanio Boniel and just under the crossbar into goal. 94 minutes into the game, Elpidio Gabrio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Nikolay Kovalev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Grütly supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching STORM's performance. The match ended with a win for STORM.
