Australian Youth Academy's Gabriel Martini was substituted for Fletcher Baba. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Garth Brough made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelito Vivar got free with Keylor Navas in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rufus Roach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Pudes Vilas replaced Xinaro Magarinos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szilveszter Szegh in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keylor Navas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Alianza Trujillo fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Alianza Trujillo's Szilveszter Szegh looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Alianza Trujillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Brandt should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas got control of the ball when Cayetano Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Australian Youth Academy's Keylor Navas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pudes Vilas in the 86th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Cayetano Montez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keylor Navas. Cayetano Montez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 95th minute, Jason Butterfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayetano Montez in the 96th minute of the match. Australian Youth Academy succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Alianza Trujillo had controlled the match.
