The audience thought a goal was coming when Pirmin Jäggi got free with Svante Björkdahl in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Svante Björkdahl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 15th minute. A collision led to Bearnaise EA getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Matz Kęd hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Rosa in the 19th minute of play forced Bearnaise EA's goalkeeper Svante Björkdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Sayvion couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Téo Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Svante Björkdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Adam Jarek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bearnaise EA and the FC Wil 1900 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Bearnaise EA got a freekick which was hit by Adam Jarek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pirmin Jäggi in the 95th minute of play forced Bearnaise EA's goalkeeper Svante Björkdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bearnaise EA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
