If Jorge Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match, Richard Rodrigues got a very nice opportunity to score, but Franco Szczęsny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Franco Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute Morten Langørgen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo de Amaral came free, but Yunus-Emre Balcik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu's Enrique Godoy got a free kick in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Gustavo de Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. Franco Szczęsny came out of the goal and Morten Langørgen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Franco Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilen Zabalo in the 92nd minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
