Lapurdi Boix's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Miguel Vasques skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Eguntsenti got free with Miguel Vasques in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Ramos in the 30th minute of play forced RED STAR FC.'s goalkeeper Tomasz Galus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Lapurdi Boix reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Miguel Vasques. The goal made the score 2-0. Tomasz Galus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Roma in the 35th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Hortêncio Ramos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomasz Galus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 40th match minute, RED STAR FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indar Campon to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Benavente dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miguel Vasques, 3-0. Hortêncio Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Macclesfield's Miguel Vasques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Benavente in the 46th minute of play. Tomasz Galus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Roma, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Miguel Vasques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Benavente in the 53rd minute of the match. Miguel Vasques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lapurdi Boix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hortêncio Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Tomasz Galus made a huge save. Miguel Vasques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Benavente in the 58th minute of the match. Ademar Damião hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Simão Jaka Jamba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Tomasz Galus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, RED STAR FC.'s Gonzalo Benavente made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Vasques was left in no man's land by his defense there! RED STAR FC.'s Lapurdi Boix got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Vasques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lapurdi Boix's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Lapurdi Boix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, RED STAR FC.'s Lapurdi Boix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Vasques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Macclesfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pôncio Moco to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Vasques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Benavente in the 85th minute of play. The RED STAR FC. fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when RED STAR FC.'s Gonzalo Benavente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Tomasz Galus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute, Simão Jaka Jamba made a precise shot to the right of Tomasz Galus. RED STAR FC.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RED STAR FC. had won after a very even match.
