The crowd rose to their feet as Alejandro Martxelin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Carlos Andrade. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Krakaca Neto scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Héctor Barra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Alejandro Martxelin made a precise shot to the right of João Carlos Andrade. Futuros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 28 minutes into the match, Alejandro Martxelin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Carlos Andrade, 3-1. Héctor Barra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Héctor Barra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krakaca Neto in the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krakaca Neto in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Héctor Barra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Krakaca Neto sped through Capo de Provincia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Héctor Barra. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tao Han hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Capo de Provincia's zone, Adhemar Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Héctor Barra came out of the goal and Adhemar Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 44 played minutes Capo de Provincia got a freekick which was hit by Epifanío Mejia. 45 minutes in the game Afonso Pinhal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mai Xun Kang. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Héctor Barra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krakaca Neto in the 55th minute of the match. Capo de Provincia's Juan Riquelme was substituted for Epifanío Mejia. Capo de Provincia's Luis Jiménez was substituted for Alejandro Martxelin. Afonso Pinhal made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Capo de Provincia's Qiao Qi. The supporters of Futuros FC booed when Capo de Provincia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qiao Qi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Jiménez came free, but João Carlos Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Fernandes in the 73rd minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Héctor Barra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Héctor Barra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The Capo de Provincia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Héctor Barra should have stopped the shot. Marcos Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Marcos Fernandes notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra. Héctor Barra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Futuros FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
