The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sandu Vlaicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Dziuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boruc Furgal made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Aurel Beldeanu sent off a good shot on target. Sandu Vlaicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz in the 10th minute of the match. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

But to his dismay, Kulabhusana Karabashlykov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With an all-out effort, Kania Gostyń's Sandu Vlaicu threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lucjan Waselewicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vlad Chiricheş hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. FC Urzicuța's Sandu Vlaicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Waselewicz in the 85th minute of play. Boruc Furgal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Beldeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
