After 3 minutes of play, Bairoletto FC's Tomás Tajo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Merlin Dolan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 14th match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Roderigo to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Pascual Demario successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Daren Starnes put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Zamalek FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Daren Starnes hit a great ball. Placido Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Dolan having to interfere. If Gilbert Jordan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Zamalek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendon Fish to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Tajo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The long shot by Tuan Glover in the 39th minute really tested Pascual Demario's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 40th minute, Brendon Fish fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 42nd minute, Tomás Tajo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merlin Dolan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4.

Dante Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clodoveo Lauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Merlin Dolan made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Jonatan Millrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Lauro got free with Merlin Dolan in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute, one of Zamalek FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zamalek FC. With his leg Merlin Dolan managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Bairoletto FC's Clodoveo Lauro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Clodoveo Lauro had several of the Zamalek FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Merlin Dolan as he didn't even see the shot coming. 84 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Merlin Dolan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Lauro. In the 86th minute, Bairoletto FC's Clodoveo Lauro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Bairoletto FC's Jonatan Millrick got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Clodoveo Lauro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Zamalek FC's Merlin Dolan got control of the ball when Clodoveo Lauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bairoletto FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
