In the 4th minute Gilmar Cuadrillero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Wong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zamalek FC's Lloyd Warren got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nardo Tuo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Wong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Jordan in the 6th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Angelo Carballal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nardo Tuo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Wong was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Nardo Tuo put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Wong. 15 minutes into the game, Nardo Tuo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ricardo Wong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With his leg Ricardo Wong managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ricardo Wong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nardo Tuo in the 20th minute. Kismi Tojedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 25th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kismi Tojedo got free with Ricardo Wong in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Wong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kismi Tojedo. In the 29th minute Gilbert Jordan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Carballal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kismi Tojedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ricardo Wong made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek FC's zone, Kismi Tojedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Wong came out of the goal and Kismi Tojedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nardo Tuo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Ricardo Wong skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 45 played minutes Zamalek FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Jordan. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zamalek FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Wong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Zamalek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xarles Gadañon came free, but Ricardo Wong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nardo Tuo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sporting Buceo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nardo Tuo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Nardo Tuo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Nardo Tuo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Wong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricardo Wong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kismi Tojedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Kismi Tojedo made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Wong. Zamalek FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Nardo Tuo succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. Zamalek FC's Ricardo Wong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kismi Tojedo in the 67th minute of play. Kismi Tojedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Wong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nardo Tuo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Xarles Gadañon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zamalek FC's Ricardo Wong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Kismi Tojedo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Kismi Tojedo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Zamalek FC defense, Nardo Tuo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Wong. The Zamalek FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Wong should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nardo Tuo in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Wong saved Zamalek FC from getting behind. Gilbert Jordan kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Nardo Tuo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Wong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nardo Tuo went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Zamalek FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sporting Buceo.
