Gilmar Torres took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raymond Halseth. POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Academia Militar MZ fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Academia Militar MZ's Diamantino Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Runar Melum in the 27th minute of play. Raymond Halseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernd Goldsche in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Academia Militar MZ were awarded a corner. Gilmar Torres went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gilmar Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Militar MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymond Halseth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, POPODARA F.C's Diamantino Magalhães threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Federico Mauro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Mauro to make the kick off. Federico Mauro struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Diamantino Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POPODARA F.C. In the 55th minute Academia Militar MZ were awarded a corner. Gilmar Torres went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Ademar Motta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Paulino Leonidas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Academia Militar MZ's Gilmar Torres tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Raymond Halseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernd Goldsche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Leonidas hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. POPODARA F.C's Vegard Berdal was substituted for Xavi Hernandez. A collision led to POPODARA F.C getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Paulino Leonidas hit a great ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in POPODARA F.C reached it. In the 93rd match minute, POPODARA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Runar Melum to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th match minute, Academia Militar MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernd Goldsche to maneuver through the defense. Academia Militar MZ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
