Aírton de Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 8 minutes of play, RO Army V55's Fanis Kapernekas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aírton de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Fanis Kapernekas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Icoara Football Club's Aírton de Amorim. Aírton de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aírton de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Kapernekas in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, RO Army V55's Thodoris Tabakis got control of the ball when Enéas Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute, Marin Duna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RO Army V55 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Marin Duna scored 0-5 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aírton de Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marin Duna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Icoara Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Kapernekas came free, but Aírton de Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renos Stefanou went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Renos Stefanou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Marin Duna made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Icoara Football Club's Ronaldinho Sanches got a free kick in the 51st minute. Fanis Kapernekas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Aírton de Amorim made a huge save. 57 minutes into the game, Sokratis Symeonakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Aírton de Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the match, Marin Duna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aírton de Amorim, 0-9. Sokratis Symeonakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aírton de Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Sokratis Symeonakis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 66th minute. Aírton de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Fanis Kapernekas sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of RO Army V55 booed when Icoara Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademir Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aírton de Amorim acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Daniel Prodan. Icoara Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Sokratis Symeonakis scored to the left of an out of position Aírton de Amorim, making the score, 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Duna got free with Aírton de Amorim in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aírton de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sokratis Symeonakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fanis Kapernekas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Aírton de Amorim made a huge save. Aírton de Amorim was a little too slow when Renos Stefanou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-12.
