If Guido Arizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pascual Demario came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo. But to his dismay, Nardo Tuo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 21 minutes into the game, Bairoletto FC's Placido Maties nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Carballal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 25 minutes of play, Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Demario was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's Nardo Tuo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pascual Demario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sporting Buceo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilmar Cuadrillero in the 30th minute. In the 30th match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Asteri to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes Bairoletto FC got a freekick which was hit by Dante Matthew. Angelo Carballal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Maties in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Kismi Tojedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascual Demario was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Kismi Tojedo's late challenge caught a Bairoletto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kismi Tojedo helped the player get up and apologised. Angelo Carballal made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Placido Maties sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Arizabal came free, but Pascual Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Arizabal was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Bartuelo Masferrer. Angelo Carballal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Asteri went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Angelo Carballal came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Bairoletto FC's Edelmiro Galeno. But to his dismay, Edelmiro Galeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. After 59 played minutes Sporting Buceo got a freekick which was hit by Sagrario Yribarren. With a little luck, Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario got control of the ball when Sagrario Yribarren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascual Demario stood somewhat misplaced when Kismi Tojedo came free in front of goal and shot 5-5 to the left of him in the 71 minute. 76 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nardo Tuo came free, but Pascual Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nardo Tuo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Matias Bortzaioriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Sporting Buceo's Sagrario Yribarren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Demario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-6. Gilmar Cuadrillero made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bairoletto FC's Rolando Asur. 91 minutes into the game, one of Sporting Buceo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
