Defensores del Ángel Gris's Uriel Chorche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Västerberg in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Västerberg came free, but Uriel Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bernard Ochabski came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Defensores del Ángel Gris fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Ochabski couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Uriel Chorche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Västerberg made a kick off. Vicente Bartoleme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Gilabert's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Västerberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
