Potrero's Lucio Ur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Lano in the 5th minute of play. Lucio Ur came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lano came free, but Lucio Ur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Barış Yorangil in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordanis Karatzaferis to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Semih Kaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Ur was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Adrián Espadas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucio Ur having to make a save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrián Espadas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lucio Ur firmly grabbed it by the left post. 61 minutes into the game, Mustafa Barış Yorangil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Potrero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soroca F.C. the free kick. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mustafa Barış Yorangil hit a great ball. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Romulo Thomas was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. In the 63rd match minute, C. A. Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Barış Yorangil to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Ur was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Răzvan Necula showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
