Alfonso Gilabert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Cornelio Asteri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 9 minutes into the game, Alfonso Gilabert lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Cornelio Asteri. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eusebio Gartzi hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Ochabski came free, but Cornelio Asteri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bernard Ochabski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Asteri was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Gilabert kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cornelio Asteri. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Alfonso Gilabert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Asteri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Mauro Ordono kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Leopoldo Aimar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guansa's Cornelio Asteri didn't even have to move. Cornelio Asteri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute Isidoro Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Damian Hondo hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Baristo to strike the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Baristo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Bernard Ochabski notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Guansa's Cornelio Asteri. Guansa's Cornelio Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Gilabert in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Alfonso Gilabert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Ángel Gris's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Gilabert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Asteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Defensores del Ángel Gris fully deserved thier win.
