Linus Fredriksson started the match with the kick off. Norberto Liberato kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Arixo in the 13th minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Dionisio Panpili sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Rana in the 16th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Fermin Arixo got a free kick in the 17th minute. Zézinho Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carlos Alvarez having to interfere. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 25th minute of play. Fermin Arixo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Amador Venceslao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soroca F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlin FC the free kick. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Carlos Alvarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Linus Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrián Espadas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Adrián Espadas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrián Espadas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Carlos Alvarez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovanni Rana during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Giovanni Rana hit a great ball. Müslüm Baba hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Arixo in the 48th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrián Espadas to make the kick off. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrián Espadas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 60th playminute. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Fernando Ciano with Fermin Arixo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. Răzvan Necula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Alvarez made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 76th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Marlin FC's Dionisio Panpili nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dan Wennerqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 85 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aybek Orcun came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Romulo Thomas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez. Juan Carlos Alvarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romulo Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
