Fabio Artaldo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Pankracy Glogowski. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-1 in the 4th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Alfonso Goicoechea sent off a good shot on target. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Arixo in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Linus Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Glogowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Juan Carlos Alvarez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eustaquio Jaizki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 17 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Linus Fredriksson in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Linus Fredriksson's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Erramu during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Alvarez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Goicoechea. 36 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Jaizki came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes Marlin FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciro Ferdinand who took care of the corner kick. Ciro Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Arixo in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Marlin FC were awarded a corner. Ismael Iglesias went to the cornerflag to take it. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Linus Fredriksson made the kick off in the second half. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Arixo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pankracy Glogowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Linus Fredriksson in the 55th minute. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Jaizki in the 58th minute of play. Linus Fredriksson in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pankracy Glogowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Juan Carlos Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Ferdinand. 65 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Arixo. In the 66th match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Arixo to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Arixo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Alfonso Goicoechea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Linus Fredriksson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pankracy Glogowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Rana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Fabio Artaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Fernando Ciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Ferdinand was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Marlin FC's Fermin Arixo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fermin Arixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Club Atlético Atlanta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Marlin FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Marlin FC.
