The audience cheered when Gavino Lobo's long shot passed Dalmacio Pello's right side. It was 0-1, 8 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, 26 de junio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Odilon to maneuver through the defense. Donato Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Billing, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Uriel Cordearo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donato Cutberto. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Dalmacio Pello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Cordearo had several of the 26 de junio's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Donato Cutberto as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 35th minute, Lázaro Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes Tello AFC got a freekick which was hit by Faouzi Ghoulam. The supporters of Tello AFC booed when 26 de junio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Cutberto came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tello AFC's Uriel Cordearo. But to his dismay, Uriel Cordearo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David de Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donato Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Nofre in the 51st minute of the match. 26 de junio's Donato Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Unax in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, David de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 26 de junio's supporters crossed their fingers, but David de Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Faustino Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to 26 de junio getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Will Budden hit a great ball. In the 66th match minute, 26 de junio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Budden to maneuver through the defense. Donato Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Unax in the 68th minute of play. The Tello AFC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Tello AFC's Uriel Cordearo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Donato Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Nofre in the 73rd minute of play. Uriel Cordearo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Cordearo in the 76th minute of play forced 26 de junio's goalkeeper Donato Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Hong Yi Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute of the match Pastor Nofre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Cutberto skillfully saved the ball.
