A sloppy throw-in by Arcadio Ramiréz in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Defensores del Ángel Gris's William Gijselinckx. 4 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Gilabert came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arcadio Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Alfonso Gilabert got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uriel Chorche came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Manolo Bacete. But to his dismay, Manolo Bacete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 13 minutes into the game, one of A.D. Alcorcón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 17 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Alfonso Gilabert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 19 minutes A.D. Alcorcón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Aimar who took care of the corner kick. Uriel Chorche made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Esteban Vadillos sent off a good shot on target. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Uriel Chorche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Ángel Gris from getting a goal against them. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Ochabski in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Belo Alvarez. In the 38th minute Alfonso Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Quijana. Leopoldo Aimar took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belo Alvarez made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Manolo Bacete had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Uriel Chorche. Defensores del Ángel Gris's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manolo Bacete was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alifonso Irureta kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eriz Acha replaced Natxo Cacheres. In the 57th match minute, Defensores del Ángel Gris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alifonso Irureta to maneuver through the defense. Leroy Antunez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Uriel Chorche. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match A.D. Alcorcón got a corner. Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leroy Antunez ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 60th minute Esteban Vadillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bingen Campos got a throw-in 62 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Manolo Bacete. Alfonso Gilabert might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurino Serena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Gilabert ran back to his position shaking his head. Belo Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Defensores del Ángel Gris made a substitution. Rene Gerber replaced Serafim Catranides. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Leopoldo Aimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save A.D. Alcorcón from getting a goal against them. Belo Alvarez got in the 75th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Uriel Chorche handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Ochabski came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Arcadio Ramiréz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.D. Alcorcón's Isaac Ortiz was substituted for Belo Alvarez. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Arcadio Ramiréz hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Alfonso Gilabert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Defensores del Ángel Gris's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Aimar in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Alfonso Gilabert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Gilabert got free with Maurino Serena in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th play minute Alfonso Gilabert came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maurino Serena. 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
